THE CHOKEHOLD ON THE WORLD ECONOMY PART I: America First! There’s an old Castilian Adage with these words: Le salió el tiro por la culata! The translation of this Castilian adage to English has been used too much lately, so I dare to use another meaning of such adage in English: He shot himself in the foot! TUESDAY 26: Trump keeps on piling up his plate, at this rate he is going to have 'un empacho'. Gluttony is no good at his age, but then again, he owns the smorgasbord. China is not the originator of the World Economy Meltdown though its economy is quite strong to absorb the aftershocks, more than the U.S.A., the true originator of the World Economy Meltdown, America first, at the hands of one man and his economic goons. SUNDAY 31, 2025: When the bullets settle down, what to do or what to say when our eyes have run out of tears. Are 'bullets' America’s future and not our Children? It seems so. Children are secondary; they are the collateral damage of America’s future: Bullets! Sad for me, very sad again, to end the month of August with this reflection of the horrible massacre of our children and others while they were in School and in the moment of prayer at the Catholic Church of Annunciation in Minneapolis. Prayers don’t hurt and are needed; what hurts, really hurts to the point on keeping counting the yearly killing of children while the politicians do nothing; and the one thing they can do to begin with is to ban all Assault Rifles and other weapons of high magazine capacity like the AR-15 rifles and its derivatives. That should be the correct beginning. Mayor Jacob Fray said it very clearly and it makes sense: 'Don’t say this is about ‘thoughts and prayers’ right now — these kids were literally praying, he said.
