There wouldn’t have been a Reformation either, which I personally call Deformation, more deformation of what was already deformed.

There wouldn’t have been an Inquisition. Therefore the Hebrews would have not been persecuted, not then nor for the last XVI centuries. There wouldn’t have been that horrible Holocaust in 1940-45, not a Hitler, for he was a Christian, a Catholic at that, nor a Mussolini, nor a Franco. There wouldn’t have been that criminal act, the cowardly and horrible attack in the name of some god on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. There wouldn’t have been the two invasions of Iraq nor of Afghanistan. There wouldn’t have been a bloke like ex-apostle-bishop-pastor-teacher Roberto Candelario telling the blind and hard of hearing sheep via CaraLibro on the internet, that although he depends on God, God depends on their tithe and offering and donations. There wouldn’t have been the conquering and massacre of so many Natives in the American Continent by Christianity, and the list goes on and on and on and on and on until we run out of ink to write about it in a book.

Nursing homes for the elderly are a very lucrative business if it doesn’t have too much regulations. It is little known that they have become very attractive for Hedge Funds and other similar types of investments where they are bundled up with other investment products for hungry investors that look for the highest return no matter how or from where those returns come from. I call them “blind investments”, but those investors are not blind when it comes to counting the returning $mula$. The State of Florida has been stripping down, or should we say chipping as is done with a great piece of stone, let’s say marble, to chip away corners and whatnot to end up with an attractive statue. Yeah, the State of Florida has been chipping way ever so slowly, ever so quietly, rules and regulations for the last ten years concerning Nursing Homes for the Elderly.

Rules and regulations over safety, liability and the overall welfare, wellbeing of the citizens that reside in them, the citizens that need more care indeed: Our Nation’s Elderly Population, the Grandparents of Our Exceptional Nation. There are close to 600,000 permanent men, women, children, elderly and war veterans homeless in our Exceptional Nation, the most per capita of any industrialized Western World Nation. There are so many and counting if we add the victims of hurricanes Harvey & Irma, that soon will reach one million, 1,000,000, and no doubt that many of these last ones will be added to the permanent homeless for the longest time, for the ones that suffer the most in any catastrophe are always the very poor and seems that things are boiling up in many parts of the Yunaites. It is so great, the numbers of homeless in the city of Anaheim, California that the city council wanted to vote to declare a state of emergency and find a solution, but the non-homeless crowd got frustrated and tensions ran so high that hardly anybody agreed on anything.

We all ought to ask ourselves as citizens this question: Has the Christian-American Experiment Failed? According to what we can read in the Bible the answer is a rotund YES, because ‘los sueños, sueños son’, and that’s what has been the American Dream, just a Dream that for many has turned into a Nightmare, however, it has always brought plenty of wealth to those that loved how others dream their life away. The God of the Bible does not appreciate nor suffer dreamers. There is a big time ‘crooko’ in Orlando, Florida, that constantly tells his blind and hard of hearing sheep: Dreams do not die, only the Dreamers die! (9/22/2017) A MEMBER OF THE MEDIA/HALF FROM A SPORTS CABLE COMPANY CALLED PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP “A WHITE SUPREMACIST”. Did I hear out there someone say: what is my opinion? I never could give what I don’t have, but I can share my observation for later declaration, and in this case I’ll call it “The Rest of the History” as in other instances. To begin with a short explanation of what Media means in the noble language of Spanish: MEDIA means HALF, period. The Media is known for reporting Half not the Entera/Whole, and when it comes to Sportscasters you’ll get a “quarter”. I get zero for I don’t watch nor listen to Sports Broadcasting, simply put: I never liked Sports and until today I have no explanation why, even from childhood never liked them, not one of them. But that is beside the point. Now this Sportscastereta did it not during the Broadcasting of a Sport, but privately through that deplorable and nasty Media component, which I think is part of ‘sucial media’.

Now, a fisherwoman was fishing and fished a big fish POTUS Popus Trumpus I of the American Church, and his spokeswoman, Washington D.C. Joan of Arc, the typical Church Lady, blasted this Sportscastereta, and demanded that she get fired from this Cable Sports Company. It must be understood that the God of the Bible, not the god of Christianity, never wrote anything in the Bible to fill up space (Daniel 12:10). Everything that God wrote is very important and is TRUTH! The question that should arise in our minds today is: Who has brought the Great Sin of Slavery in the United States to the Front Burner today as never before? Could it have been the God of the Bible? I do not know how God manages or figures out the Way to sit in the highest office of all the Nations the one He chooses, the basest of men, when God does not interfere with men’s affairs (God Respects Free Will/Libre Albedrio as nobody else does, for He Is the One that Gave it to Mankind in the First Place), but I guess, and guessing well, but better say that I affirm that it is so: BECAUSE HE IS GOD AND AS GOD CAN DO WHAT MAN CAN’T, FOR GOD IS OMNIPOTENT!!! THE EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION OR PROCLAMATION 95, 1860, was just that: A Proclamation, mainly just words. It was taken by the Legislative Body, the United States Congress, and added five years later to the Constitution in 1865: No more Slavery! But it was not implemented fully nationally for many years. The United States Congress in the Name and in Behalf of the Nation didn’t recognize the Grave Sin of Slavery (A True Holocaust, for countless of them were born and died as slaves through the years without ever tasting freedom and others were killed) that have been perpetrated “As a Nation” for almost a hundred years against the “Negro Race”. So the response was no less than what God Said and Wrote almost two thousand years earlier: “for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil”. But that Evil strongly continued until the mid 1960s and beyond. Over a year ago I came across with the “Green Book” and although I was aware of some of these ugly things, I was not totally aware of how extensive they had been, and after reading it my heart sank in sadness. Still the Human Dignity has not been fully restored, and we’re talking of the mid 1960s, one Hundred years after The Emancipation Proclamation or Proclamation 95 and the Thirteenth Amendment (Amendment XIII) to the United States Constitution. It was truly just words printed on paper but not engraved in the Heart of the Nation. “The Negro Motorist Green-Book”, Victor Hugo Green, 1936-1966. It was published by New York City mailman Victor Hugo Green to help the Black Families navigate on the roads of América safely when they went on vacations or other purposes with lists of restaurants, gas stations and hotels or motels where there were no signs such as “Only for Whites”, and there were not many. I found out to my surprise that I wasn’t alone in this ignorance. Not long ago a black gentleman came into my driveway driving a utility truck. I had called for I had some problem with the power in my house. A very nice man he was, and we chatted for a little while before he left and I asked him if he ever had heard of “The Negro Motorist Green-Book” and answered me no. He was about 35 years old and he thanked me for the information, and that as soon as he could, he was going to do a research in the Internet.

What we basically have done as a Nation is exactly as that old Castilian saying: “No hay mayor desprecio que no hacer aprecio” / Contempt triumphs by non-appreciation”. We bring now to our open letter forum the best person we can think of regarding the Grave Sin of Slavery, the American Holocaust, born in Selma, Alabama, which became the Eye of the Storm and he lived through the mid 1960s and was 19 years old at that significant time of our Turbulent History, Mr. Jefferson “Amazing” Beauregard Sessions III. And who is Mr. Jeff “Amazing” Sessions you ask? Well, for those in Trumpland, this Señor has been a Civil Servant for the last 42 years in the area of Law and Order. In other words, he has spent 60% of his life, and counting, being a pillar member of the Establishment for the last 42 years, much longer than most dictators around in the History of this Mondo Cane.

Now, this warrior of righteousness, holier-than-thou and pure as a wind driven snowflake, furiously has been attacking and vilifying for the last two years, at least, the very same Establishment that he’s been part of for the last 42 long years with the rest of the Fast and Furious Gang Who Came in from the Cold. This Gang is headed ever so quietly by the Designated Survivor of the American Fifth Column/Quinta Columna: the American Church and Fourth Branch of our American System, and by the way, the more Powerful of the Four Branches.

This Gang is extensive but we will post the most prominent individuals male and female that now make their living, a good one we must say, out of the system that they so much despised, but in reality it is all smoke and mirrors, window dressing; they really love the System. Now they are part of it and in charge, so they are trying to make their beloved System in their own image, in the image of their Religion, both male and female. It is just similar let’s say of that other State in the Heart of Rome, the Vatican, that its Archistrategus, Franciscus I The Obscure, is the Great Window Dresser of the 21st Century. What all these individuals have in common is that they all are very Christian, nothing wrong with it, except when they are so radical and they are in charge of governing. Remember, dear readers, Freedom of Religion without Freedom from Religion?

Now, where the rubber meets the road, let’s start with these few innocent questions, Mr. Sessions, for our Nation sake: You were born in a very Christian home in 1946 in the town of Selma, Alabama, wasn’t it, Mr. Sessions? So we assume that the teachings and traditions that your young brain was absorbing at home were those of mercy and charity as a good Methodist, the closest to the Puritans that arrived on the Mayflower, wasn’t it, Sir? The true fruit of the Spirit of God in the children of the God of the Bible: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

So, Mr. Sessions, as you grew up as a child and adolescent, what were your sentiments when you started noticing that the Black American could only sit in the last seats of the bus? Or when you were able to read and your dear parents took you to a restaurant where there was a sign that said: NO NEGROS ALLOWED? Did you ask, Sir, Mr. Sessions, any questions to your parents of the horrible dehumanization of people of color in Selma? What about when you all went to Church as a Family Sunday after Sunday, did the god of your Methodist faith cause your conscience to revolt with some guiltiness? Did you have nightmares as Colored People were left behind, Sir, while you pursued happily ever after your American Dream?

It is totally revolting, Sir, if I may add. I beg your pardon, Sir; did you say that that was a long time ago? It doesn’t matter how long ago it was, Sir, the God of the Bible has Ways to catch up and bring to the front burner wicked times and wicked men and women to hand them their rewards: Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. Psalm/Salmos 28:4. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. Revelation/Apocalipsis 18:5-6

IN ANY EVENT, Sir, if I put myself in similar shoes, that of having been born in Selma, Alabama, let’s say in 1946, I may have seen things differently and ended up thinking that what was going on, keeping the “Dignity” of the Negro hostage, was a normal and a natural thing. But then again, I may not have agreed with my elders with such wonderful Christian Values that the entire Nation seemed to espouse, and I may have thought that we owned the Black Americans more that we even think today.

Wishful thinking, Mr. Jefferson “Amazing Disgrace” Beauregard Sessions III? You may be right, Sir; I may be crazy, for this is a “Wild World” and it’s hard to get by just upon a smile. But then again, if I would have been that bloke, the one keeping the “Dignity” of the Negro hostage as a normal and a natural thing, at the same time it would have demonstrated one thing and one thing only, not to men, for men are blind and deaf spiritually speaking, totally dead, but more importantly to the God of the Bible: That I was a pretender, that I was a hypocrite and a deceiver, a big time liar, for I was not His child. But not being alone in that, the entire American Church were pretenders and hypocrites and great deceivers. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith, prove your own selves, how that Je’sus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobate? 2 Corinthians/Corintios 13:5

But before we get into the KNEELING AFFAIR allow me please, Sir, to post this little tale about “Sis Goose” that I just came across today, to establish a little parabolic precedent: While swimming across a pond, Sis Goose was caught by Brer Fox (who in some versions of the tale is described as a sheriff). Sis gets upset because she believes that she has a perfect right to swim in the pond. She decides to sue Brer Fox. But when the case gets to court, Sis Goose looks around and sees that besides the sheriff who is a fox, the judge is a fox, the prosecuting and defense attorneys are foxes too and even the jury is comprised entirely of foxes. Sis Goose doesn’t like her chances. Sure enough at the end of the trial, Sis Goose is convicted and summarily executed. Soon the jury, judge, sheriff, and the attorneys are picking on her bones. The moral: “When all the folks in the courthouse are foxes and you are just a common goose there ain’t gonna be much justice for you.”

THIS IS THE STATEMENT-REASON THAT Mr. Colin Kaepernick GAVE PUBLICLY: I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder. Colin Kaepernick, former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Aug. 26, 2016. He demonstrated that his convictions ingrained in his conscience, free will/libre albedrio given to him by Almighty God, as long as he wasn’t breaking any Law of the Land, was bigger than football, for he sacrificed his job and his entire career knowingly, the great future that he had ahead on the field. It is as if his living conscience, for many have their conscience dead, was telling him ever so clearly: sell everything and follow me; and so he did.

What is remarkable is that the kneeling protest during the singing of the national anthem began mostly unnoticed through the preseason 2016 of the NFL, way before the Presidential Election, and no candidate reacted patriotically offended. If it would have been left alone, it would have died eventually, for it is not the very first time that happened; as a matter of fact, not alternative facts, it has happened many times. It is all about ratings, amigos and friends, just like that worthless reality TV show: “The Apprentice”. It seems that the “money changers” managed to show up out of the blue in the Temples of the NFL all around our Nation and blew it all out of proportion.

(10/2/2017) THIS BUSINESS of the Flag and Anthem in this specific instance, American Football (Gridiron Football), is about that: Business that translates to ratings that translate to $$$: Mammon. We know that for many, one of them being you, Sir, and for your Subordinate it is a “Big Deal”, for both of you are “very patriotic”, and you, Sir, and your Subordinate love our nation way more than anybody else. For other concerned American citizens, it is less of a “Big Deal”. Now, Sir, another innocent question for you, Sir, Mr. Jefferson “Amazing Disgrace” Beauregard Sessions III: Who of the two groups do you consider to be more patriotic, those that in their conscience, regardless if their conscience is dead or alive, it is a Big Deal, or those to whom it is less a Big Deal? Feel free to answer, Sir, for it isn’t about National Security, unless in your dead conscience it is all about National Security and not about ratings that translate to $$$: Mammon.

Another innocent question, Sir, since “patriotism” is at the heart of this “enchilada” that you, Sir, and your Subordinate spiced up and dared to cook in that “Hell’s Kitchen”, the one near the Swamp, not the one in Manhattan: Where were you, and for that matter, your Subordinate since you both are of the same age, demonstrating and practicing your high level patriotism, let’s say from 1965-70, during the Vietnam War to be more specific, for nobody noticed nor remember you nor your Subordinate not even being near nor 500 hundred miles away from the Hanoi Hilton (Maison Centrale)?  Did you “recuse” yourself from serving in Vietnam as you “recused” yourself from the Russian Investigation? And your Subordinate, was he very busy already planning in his mind the Manhattan Golden Tower of Babel to “Make America Great Again” in the future that he recused himself from the opportunity of serving as well honorably the Country that he so dearly loved?

No regular soldier is assigned with 10 automatic assault weapons with large-capacity ammunition magazines or similar, for just one of them can be turned into a mass killing machine.

Well, in all honesty, if there is any left in this World, it is very possible that soon enough at this rate, it would be a Bad Time to talk about gun control 24/7. Between the mass massacre rate and other abundant criminal cases in our National Soil and the American Soldiers being killed in foreign lands like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc., plus the number of them that commit suicide on a daily basis at home on our National Soil after they come back from war, 5 at least, we will be mourning on a daily basis with the Flag Half-Mast, and we will not have the Time any longer to start Talking Gun Control.

I mourn every morning. Every morning when I get up from my peaceful sleep, I’m reminded that I am still breathing in this World even if I sense that I’m not of this world. Yes dear readers, I get up to this nightmare every day and I ask the Lord, until when, to no avail, and I’m not answered. You know, oh Lord, that I hated my life in this World without hating it, and nothing. Oh Lord, I just wanted to be your poor but wise child for I’m constantly in need of your admonishment, and nothing. So, I’m left with this burden, the great burden of continuing to write in the midst of this horrible and wicked World. I do not want to do it; I want to stop, oh Lord, too much pain and vexation of spirit, for I’m weak, very weak, I want to go home to Father in heaven. Again no answer, total silence is my company. That is my daily heavy burden of sorrow and affliction of spirit, to continue writing, even if I do not want to.

A WELL REGULATED MILITIA: What is a MILITIA and who are those that could integrate it today that are worthy of defending the basic interests and rights of the rest of “all” individual citizens in our Exceptional Nation, U.S.A.? And who would be the “proven worthy person” or persons, citizens, to head it, to be its leader or leaders? It is a very murky definition of a Militia to make and to apply today for it was established or thought of, this concept of Citizens Militia, practically in the midst of the American Revolution to obtain Independence from one of the Evil Empires of that Day, in our case in United States from the Evil British Empire.

The other more prominent Empires of the era were the Evil Portuguese Empire and Evil Spanish Empire, and by the way, the three of them were Christian Empires. That’s how they were known in that day to the great majority of the people of the New World, the American Continent and beyond, and as distant as the Far East and Australia. There was also the Islamic Evil Empire, part of Christianity as well, which we leave for another occasion, but it should be noticed that each of the four of them were Religious Empires to their core, and each one of them claimed, and still do, that they were superior to the rest. Doesn’t Christianity use predominately names at its core those of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in addiction to names such as Maria, and the repetition over and over again of the name Jesus? Unbeknown to most people on Earth, including most members of the Islamic faith, the name of Jesus is of a great presence and relevance in the writings of the Koran and is mentioned more times in the Koran than the name of their own prophet; to such an importance is the name Jesus held in the Koran, that it is believed by Muslims that the one to come back at the End of the World is not their prophet but Jesus.

(10/7/2017) THE RIGHT OF PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED: At the Time and the Year, 1789, that the Framers of the Constitution Framed and Signed the Constitution, 39 Delegates in total, a Hand Gun was called Musket Pistol, and what is known today as Rifle was called plain Musket. Both “Arms”, weapons, in general only hold one metal ball, bullet, so every time it was discharged the weapon had to be reloaded. There were a minuscule amount of them that had two loads, but the great majority of them were a single shot due to the double barrel weapon being too expensive, and definitely the Armies, or should we say the Nations, at that time anywhere in the World couldn’t afford to provide a two barrel weapon to every soldier.

Now, think of it, dear amigo and friendly reader, if the Exceptional Framers would have imagined that those weapons to which they referred for the Militia, Musket Pistol and Rifle Musket, would evolve, or should we say “evolutionize”, (one of the more despised “words” of the “White Christian Supremacists”) to become on their own merit “weapons of mass destruction”, for that is what “semiautomatic shotguns and rifles” should be called, never mind even totally “automatic shotguns and rifles”, both weapons designed to inflict as many casualties in a war zone; would the Framers still have left that part of the Constitution (“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”) open to interpretation for future “wicked politicians” to decide what’s best for the rest of us, we the people? Did these same Framers on purpose leave interpretation open in case the Streets of America become a “war zone”? If 60 persons, human beings, were killed and over 500 wounded in Las Vegas in just 5 to 10 minutes, we don’t know what else to call the “weapon” used to create such a massacre but a weapon of mass destruction!!!

However I always wait on the Lord, and sure enough, I didn’t have to look for an answer anywhere else but in the Bible. As a matter of fact, I didn’t need to search the Word of God just yet, for the Verse came to my mind quickly as a balm that couldn’t have come at a better time to my afflicted soul. The God of the Bible is the one that got me out of there: from between sword and wall. Verse one of chapter three of the First Book of the Holy Word of God did it. I have called this verse for the longest time the Great Conspiracy, the only one worth mentioning. Also I had called the biggest illustration in existence of what is a “half truth”, that by the way is of this World, as Satan is of this World, for the Whole Truth is not of this World as the Lord Jesus Christ is not of this World for He is the TRUTH!

As of today we have over 500 million weapons in “the streets” of América literally speaking. We have managed so far to keep our wars, some we joined them and others we started, outside our borders, but it seems that the amount of weaponry in the hands of civilians, some not well civilized, are sufficient to endure for quite some time a war inside our borders. A question, a legitimate one: What’s the need for such a great amount of war hardware, 500 million strong and counting, and are we getting ourselves ready for a possible war within our border, and if it is so, at war with whom?

TO UNDERSTAND FIRST WE HAVE TO REMEMBER!!! DO EMPIRES RETURN AS DUST TO THE EARTH? You bet they all do, for an Empire is comprised of people, and all people must return to the dust of the Earth for that’s what we all are: DUST! Only One, even though He was buried and rose on the third day as if Earth was rejecting Him, and correct that is, for He was not of this Earth, meaning that He was not dust; He was, Is and Forever More will Be God, and His KINGDOM that neither is of this Earth will last Forever, for it was not made with men’s hands as all Empires are built, made with men’s hands. The one that literally was rejected by Earth was no other than the Lord God Christ Jesus, though He rose, resurrected, from death in His Own Power as the Only God that Was, Is and Shall Ever Be.

IN THE GREATEST ERA AND IN THE MIDST OF FAKE NEWS, WE CONTINUE BRINGING THE “GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST” STRAIGHT FROM THE WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE! The Christian houses of worship, Islam included, were always great hubs, dominions, principalities of Fake News, and now we live in the expansion era of all Fake News even more, Fake News promoted today by no other than POTUS POPUS Trumpus I of the American Church. Orlando, Florida has many, as in other places around the World of these hubs, dominions, principalities of Fake News, but one that is prominent in that front, for it has been trying to “conquer” Orlando for the last 25 years, “Centro Internacional de a Familia”, former “Centro de la Familia Cristiana” headed by the guru of everything that Brings Good Things to Life, Roberto Candelario, including all things Trump.

BACK TO THE DUSTY FALL OF EMPIRES: Just two ancient examples: Babylonian Empire (Began around 626 BC and ended 539 BC). Alexander the Great Empire (336-323 BC). The Roman Empire (Ten Centuries: 6th Century BC to 4th AD Century). Some examples now of our Era (AD), Middle Ages to Upper Middle Ages and some of our Own Modern Era: The Fall of the Roman Empire occurred in our own era (400 AD). Then we have the British Empire, Spanish Empire and Portuguese Empire. These last three operated and competed among themselves to dominate at practically the same period. And let’s do not forget the last Chinese Empire: Qing Empire (1644-1912 AD). In our more recent history and modern era we have the Austro-Hungarian Empire (1867-1918). More close to our times are: The Third Reich Empire (1933-1945), and last but not least: The Soviet Union (1922-1991). If we do numbers, add first and then divide, we will find the average of years that an Empire has lasted to be 250 years.

All these Empires ultimately, I dare to say, bit the dust literally speaking, some more than others. What do I mean by “bit the dust” more? What we found out about all Empires is (this is not an opinion but an observation) that the more “exceptionally proud, arrogant, pompous, vainglorious, haughty, imperious and domineering” they were, the harder the fall was and the more they bit the dust.

WHO WERE THE “FRAMERS” OF OUR CONSTITUTION, THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION? HALF TRUTHERS!!! I never use the word Despise except when I refer to Conspiracy. If there is something that I really “Despise, it is Conspiracy Theories” because those Conspiracies are a distraction put out by wicked men and women that benefit from them. In other words, Conspiracies seem to be directed at a specific “group” to somehow harm or discredit that “group”, but ultimately benefit the same “group”, so we have to consider the ultimate “half truth”, it is themselves; “such group or groups” are the ones that bring out “such conspiracy” against themselves that seems to harm them but in reality they get fringe benefits, whatever benefit the Conspiracy is supposed to bring them.

Is it clear, friends and amigos readers? Sorry, that’s the best I can do. Lots of people love conspiracies and they are entertained immensely by them, especially in the Yunaites, the Land of Major Conspiracies; otherwise look at the White House today, it is the greatest hub of “conspiracy theorists” in our present time. The only one in there that is not one of them is Mr. Donald Juan Trump. He is, sad to say, just a useful “Big Bird”, not of the kind that resides in “Sesame Street”, but rather the kind that resides in “Wall Street”.

So how would I describe “Conspiracy” in few words? La Vida Sigue Igual: It is Business As Usual! Undoubtedly, as we read in Genesis 3:1, the main ingredient of Idiotic Conspiracy Theories is “Half Truths”. The only Conspiracy to be taken seriously is found, again, in Genesis 3:1 because God tells us so! The rest are dung (Philippians/Filipenses 3:8). They all start with rumors that balloon to the first heaven where the prince of the air has his habitation.  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Ephesians/Efesios 2:2

Rumors are an evil thing for they are the “mother of all conspiracies” and cause plenty to die unnecessarily. They all start with a rumor. Woe to those that spread rumors aimed to create conspiracies: Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumor, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. Isaiah/Isaías 37:7 

A “Half Truth” is composed of two words, and its meaning as well: A “Premeditated Lie”. Do not put any attention dear readers to conspiracies for they are created by man premeditatedly to distract us from the only “Truth” that is not of this World: The Lord Christ Jesus. Read the Book of the Truth: the Word of God, the Bible: But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth. Daniel 10:21

Now, since we are on it, we must clarify that a “Cover-Up” has nothing to do with a “Conspiracy”. A “Cover-Up” is an attempt to hide a Blunder, the Bigger the “Cover Up” the Bigger the “Blunder”.

The very first and most Beautiful Written Paraphrase or Statement Expressed by the Framers of our Constitution in writing as the best way of “communication” back then, so all can read it, we find in the Declaration of Independence; but such a “Wonderful Statement” never made it to the Constitution of the United States of América, and the question we all should ask ourselves once and for all as American Citizens is: WHY?

(10/11/2017) WHAT DID POTUS MEAN WHEN HE SAID: CALM BEFORE THE STORM? The following is an observation not an opinion nor a premonition. We already pointed out in previous writings what is the declaration of this observation, and due to the urgency and the responsibility given to me, and I implicitly believe it so, I do not have any choice but to declare what I see again; not doing so will provoke that God’s Wrath rests over my head. Then again, I ought to obey God rather than man. And then again, I’m not the only one given this command to obey the God of all Mercies.

For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth. Isaiah/Isaías 21:6. If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; The whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took no warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his own iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. DOES PRESIDENT TRUMP MEAN MORE WAR AFTER THE “CALM” WITH NORTH KOREA? We better wake up and smell the roses while they are still blooming. But much better would be if it is the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the Valleys (Salomon/Cantares 2:1). We do not have an exorbitant amount of friends left in the World. North Korea, as I had said before, will never start a war with us; the United States will start that war if it ever happens. There are four pairs of eyes watching intensely that share common borders among themselves with said country, North Korea, and the four of them possess Nuclear Weapons. If the United States starts a War in North Korea, launches first, the big looser will be us, the United States of América. These four pairs of eyes, Nations, “seem to be our friends” right now, but that friendship will evaporate that very moment, the moment of no turning back once we started that War, for it will rain thousands of Missiles over our heads everywhere on our Nation; yes, Missiles with Nuclear Heads launched by those four Nations and nobody will come to our help in the World, for no nation will be willing to risk their Own National Security, they will be following Trump’s Doctrine: Our Nation First! Who are those four pairs of eyes, Nations? I had already mentioned them by name in previous writings; look for it in NEWS ARCHIVES. But it’ll be easy to find out on your own as long as you have a high ‘IQ’ as POTUS does and demonstrates it by ‘tweeting’ along the way all day long.

(10/13/2017) IT WAS A PLEASANT DAY, sunny and not too cold when a “traveler” arrived in south Spain. He was not to continue traveling for it was his destination where he’ll live for the next five years. It was January 15, 2001. There was a purpose why it was the 15th, and for that matter as long as he arrived before the 20th of January, the purpose came true. Any day was fine as long as it was before the Inauguration day of George W. Bush as President of the United States of América. The “traveler” of this short tale is the author of this story. The one that is writing it right now; yes, this ‘little aguijón’ that I am today, but I had chosen to write it in the third person for I’m the author and do have that privilege. In other words, I had been shown the Truth by God’s Mercy and the Truth had set me free, and free I am indeed.

He was upset, very upset, unusually upset. But why, why was he so upset? Well, dear reader, as I mentioned at the beginning that the “bloke” that arrived in southeast Spain to be precise and the author of this story is the same person, but not one and the same, for it has rained quite a lot since then. Mainly what I try to explain is that I am no writer, I just write. So let us go by parts for it may help us to get where we want as fast as possible; which is that it is very possible we might not have as a Nation many friends left out there as we still think we have. Again, it is an observation, not an opinion not a statement with any validity for that is not my purpose; my purpose in this case is to blow the trumpet and sound an alarm. Of course the “Ruling Regime” won’t hear the trumpet nor the alarm, not the “Think Tanks” either (Cisterns/Cisternas), those “thinkers” by and near the Swamp nor the whole House on the Hill where are a great amount of ‘zánganos pululan’.

OVER ALL, I’ll confess, just in case it has not been noticed, that my real “Purpose”, and I do it on purpose in all of my writings is to insert what I call in Spanish ‘Cuñas Bíblicas’; so if you want to continue reading you’ll come across over and over again with Biblical Verses and if you read them my “purpose” has been fulfilled. From there on it is God who takes over, and let me say this: You always will be in Good Hands, the only Holy Hands, when God takes over. Again, this is the Way my Lord provides to me and Helps me to bring His Gospel of Salvation to some which I never will meet, but it doesn’t really matter; what matters is that you Meet Him and Get to Know Him and Get to Understand Him, your Creator and Hopefully your Savior, the Lord Christ Jesus, Amen.

Having said all that, I’ll finish this segment with these last words: We are not here to entertain anybody with our writings nor to indulge in Conspiracy Theories, for all of them come from the pit of hell. Maybe that’s the reason that we have low reading audience, but so be it, for we rather be the Needle in a Haystack for some of the Remnant of the Lord than be popular in this wicked World which is home for those that perish.

And I will bring the blind by the way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked thing straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. Isaiah/Isaías 42:16. But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. This takes me to the Heart of God’s Gospel, God’s Great Purpose, God’s Work, SALVATION. Now, God’s Gospel, God’s Great Purpose, God’s Work, is a simple one if it is left to Him which starts with Understanding Him and Knowing Him and last but not least, to wait for His Salvation, while we plead to God for His Mercy. Nothing else does God require from us for He knows that we are just men/women that can’t reach Salvation. So, dear reader, let’s all of us do that: Understand and Know and Wait for His Mercy while we constantly Beseech and Plead for It, for who knows, only He knows, if maybe He will save us. We have nothing to lose but everything to gain.  But let’s be aware that nothing will displease God more than if we try to help Him to save us, for it is like saying to God: You need help!

Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. This next declaration on my part might sound contradictory, but not to those that were made Free by the Mercy of God, for they will understand, however, none of the wicked shall understand (Daniel 12:10). In my case I’m totally free without any attachment to creeds, religions, doctrines of man and their false gospels, nor attached to any institution being political or otherwise; I do not depend on any of them. However, I have never been so dependent in all the areas of my life on this earth for the last 10 years, and will be totally a dependent until my last breath. I am totally a dependent of God’s Mercy, 100% and I love it. Love to depend on God. Call me a “welfare king” all day long if you wish, for I’ll be praising the Lord all day long; as a matter of fact: I have been doing so for the last ten years!!! But also to get to know God and understand His Ways takes you to a very lonely road where few travel; it is a lonely and narrow road. Just like Paul on his wide road to Damascus in the company of others, his return was a lonely one to the end. The Lord’s long road to Calvary was a very lonely one. While many become lone wolves, you’ll become a lone lamb, but a lamb of the Lord. You won’t have a place to get together with others like a temple, or cathedral or church or mosque, but you’ll gather on the Holy Mountain, the Bible, in spirit with others but particularly with the Father and God the Holy Spirit, for every time that two or more gather in His Name, He’ll be present, for the Father and God the Holy Spirit and you make three. AMEN!

You won’t be popular; you won’t be called a warrior or a hero; you won’t be called president or senator or congressman or mayor; you won’t be called governor or congresswoman. You’ll decrease (John 3:30) so much that you’ll become almost invisible for you’ll be hidden in plain Light, under the Light of the Son of the Living God, for you were separated by the Father from the great mass of goats.

You’ll go against the flow, for as the river’s water flows to the sea, a figure of death in the Bible, you’ll be swimming against the current towards the fountain where the Living Waters come from, towards the Mountain, the Word of God, The Bible. Not a pretty picture but a sorrowful one, for if you are one of the happy campers in this world of suffering, sorrows and wickedness, you’ll be above the Master for He was called by God Himself, God is the Author of the Bible, a Man of Sorrows.

THIS WOULD BE A GOOD MOMENT TO RETURN TO THE “TRAVELER” TO SOUTH SPAIN TO FINISH WITH THIS PAELLA. A good moment like any other I should say, because what is a moment anyway? A moment in time, or a moment in history, or better a moment in Eternity, what is it? For us in this World the more it could mean, for that’s what really is, a Picture where it has taken a concrete and shaped visual effect in our minds that doesn’t exist any longer that stands still frozen in time. It is gone with the wind of the next moments that followed. It is almost like an illusion, just a flitting nothing that in some cases stayed in our memory, or historians add to their view, most of the times their own view shaped by their beliefs, and the beliefs in some cases of the civilization they are told they live in.

All are fleeting moments in history that in many cases are deceiving, whether done on purpose or not it is all the same, for it will be an impossibility for a historian or a storyteller to imprint the truth and nothing but the truth on the pages of History. And why is it so, you would ask? Because the Truth is unknown not being of this World, and we are strangers to the Truth. The “pages of history” are a Swamp, and never a better moment to point it out, of lies that we had believed through and through.

The only “moment in time” a man or a woman has brought the Truth and nothing but the Truth is when she or he had copied the Word of God, the Bible, with no alterations, and that is not his or her truth but God’s Truth. God’s Book contains the part of human history that we should be interested in the most for it is Flawless and Truth. If the Truth is not of this World, the Truth is unknown to those that are of this World, hence the God of the Truth is unknown: Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Ath’ens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious (religious). For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Acts/Hechos 17:23

The same inscription could be placed in front of every Hill and plaza/square and temple and church and mosque and court house all around the World for the same GOD that Paul referred to still is THE UNKNOWN GOD!!!

There are even those superstitious/religious that want to perpetuate the illusion, “blinded by the light of that angel” (2 Corinthians 12:14), by claiming to remember the “moment” that they were saved. They said that it was a “moment of wonderment” and will tell you the day, some even the hour and the year when they were saved because, apparently, they were ready to accept salvation, to accept “some sort of jesus” as their savior and lord. What a deceiver, sadly the one that is deceived with such outrageous claim is himself. But then again, it is done to advance the lie, for who wants to be alone after claiming that? We are gregarious and we want company and the bigger the company the better, for we feel that that certifies we are right, correct and amazing all at the same time in all we do.

Now, could it be something more false that to know the “time” and remember the hour, the day and the year that we were saved? That is reducing God to our own image, something that mankind has been trying to do with the helping hand of the “angel of light” (2 Corinthians 12:14) since the Great Conspiracy started in Genesis 3:1-5. So, Almighty God has to wait until ‘perico los palotes’ is ready so then God knocks at the door of his heart and says: get ready ‘perico’ that tomorrow at 5 in the afternoon I’ll come back to save you. THAT IS VERY DANGEROUS!!!

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid? For he saith to Mo’ses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So it is not of him that willeth, not of him that runneth, but God that showeth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pha’raoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. (10/15/2017) WE ARE BACK IN SOUTH SPAIN SO TO SPEAK: It was going to be a wonderful year, so the “traveler” thought as he installed himself for the “time being” in a little hotel next to the coast of La Manga del Mar Menor, Murcia. Behind was left that ugly and upsetting year of the end of the millennium, the year 2000. The small village was mostly deserted for it was January; again, it was January 15, 2001. It was not even low season. It was a zero season until summer that started little by little in the spring with waves of people culminating by summer, all the summer. “It Takes a Village” to be next to sunny beaches to be filled up to capacity all summers, “not a liberal”, was his observation. The “traveler” was a die-hard conservative made in América. He didn’t leave América, the ruling party left him. “Dear, America is done, is finished, let’s move to Spain”, were the words that he said to his ‘better half’, when George W. Bush was given the republican nomination to run for President in the 2000’ elections. And so it came to be, it came the “time” to move, because for the “traveler” few more other things mattered than ‘al pan, pan y al vino, vino’, in English: Let your yes, be a yes, and your nay, be a nay! “Read my lips: no new taxes”; George H. Enough, I better say, beating around the bush (no pun intended) and let’s go to the matter which is, just in case you had missed it: How many Friends, not counting allies, do we still have, or have left around the World as a Nation? Another moment in time: This time we find ourselves accompanying the “traveler”, as in a Time Machine, to 1994 in Orlando, Florida, Los Yunaites (always Spanglish). There was a fundraising dinner gala that a large Spanish association put together with the Republican Party machinery that La Familia owned, the $machine$ that is, of which the “traveler” wasn’t aware just yet, for one of the Familia members was running for governor of the State of Florida, Mr. John Ellis “Jeb” Bush. Our man, the “traveler” cooperated by attending. Once inside the dinner gala he walked around and chatted with a few people and noticed familiar faces, those that were, should we say, somebody in politics plus business people, and some TV personalities, most of them Spanish, no need to say, Republicans. Most of the “crème de la crème” of the Spanish community were there. But first things first for the routine of our man back then when he was at a dinner party of any sort, was to get a well made “martini”, vodka; very dry, stirred not shaken, with a slice of lemon peel.

As he walked around, martini in hand, chatting, he noticed a tall figure next to a wall of the ballroom, dinner room, not far. The figure towered all around him. Our “martini man” got closer to see if a chance to chat with the candidate opened up, and so it happened. There was a moment where he was all alone so he rushed and introduced himself and following the protocol they shook hands. (Jeb Bush, on the professional side: “I want to be very wealthy, and I’ll be glad to tell you when I’ve accomplished that goal”, 1983) We all want the same thing if we are of this World, don’t we folks? No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew/Mateo 6:24

(10/16/2017) After the protocol and the pleasantries the “martini man” (we are making a transfer from the “traveler” to the “martini man” for it is all about fleeting “moments in time” and this is the proper time) said to Mr. John Ellis “Jeb” Bush: Sir, can I offer an advice to your campaign for whatever it is worth? Sure, go ahead by all means, anything that would help? was Mr. John Ellis “Jeb” Bush’s answer. We all know how much you admire and love your dear father, Sir, but “Read my lips: bringing your dear father on some occasions on your campaign trail, I think hurts more than it helps. Mr. John Ellis “Jeb” Bush wasn’t interested; in fact he looked annoyed and indignant as would a royal. Well, considering that I was nobody for I was just a “die-hard conservative, I don’t blame him.

I knew from that moment on that he was going to lose against the then incumbent Democratic Governor Lawton Chiles. However, the “martini man” still voted for John Ellis “Jeb” Bush for Governor of Florida. Looking back in time now, the “ex-martini man” would have recommended Mr. John Ellis “Jeb” Bush to advance his middle name to Jeb “Guacamole” Bush, instead of doing it during his campaign for Presidente of the Yunaites in 2016, so it would have been a more level Florida campaign field: “Guacamole vs Chiles” for Gobernador! Hasta la vista, baby!!! 

There was excitement in the air all over Spain. It was known, the date, when la Peseta would be no more and the €Euro would reign in the Peninsula Ibérica, starting February 28, 2002 as in most of Europe. The “martini man” bought for himself a Mercedes 190E in excellent condition from the original owner, a retired Colonel of the Spanish Air Force for 500,000 Pesetas. They became good friends and had the opportunity to talk about some history of Spain with someone that knew it quite well. The next step was to find a house to rent and find a job as well in sunny Murcia, for his ‘better half” would pronto arrive from América. “Martini man” did not have a ‘problemo’ and in a week he landed a job selling luxury homes in what was becoming, or so it was thought, the ‘número uno’ Golf Course Resort in Murcia, a 27-hole Championship Course. Not for Spaniards, for hardly anybody in Espanya could have afforded it.

That Golf Resort and its luxury homes were for the “Giris”, the term for Northern Europeans, British, Dutch and Germans in particular, given by the natives/natives Spanish, who had the most mula. Being fluent in English, Yankee English that is, helped the “martini man” to get that job. Soon enough the “martini man” was called “el Americano”, a new name  started by the Spaniards themselves for they claimed that his accent was not from Spain, although he was born and raised there and emigrated to U.S.A. in 1973. And they were correct; he had lost the heavy accent of the land. But never mind, these are minutiae.

Things were going well, very well, superbly, as far as “el Americano” was concerned. The martinis and ‘el vino de Rioja’ were flowing as in a well decorated fountain with a statue in the center dedicated to Dionysus nonstop. They already were “Days of Wine and Roses” by the summer of 2001. What could ever turn out wrong, was the constant thought of “el Americano”; money was flowing too. He was making “buenas migas” with everybody, particularly with the British and the Irish, and never better said, for “Migas” is the typical dish of Murcia. Migas is for Murcia as the Paella is for Valencia. A curiosity, “el Americano” appeared kind of suspicious in the eyes of some Spaniards, but he didn’t put much attention to it; they were minutiae. “El Americano just wanted to work, make Pesetas and have fun. Don’t we all wanna have fun, as much as possible, whether we are boys or girls? Again the thoughtful “el Americano” thought: Regardless of who loses or who wins, always “La Vida Sigue Igual” in every instance, they are just moments in time. Was all that part of the “Calm before the Storm” in those particular “moments in time” of “el Americano’s” life alone, while in Spain or for the World as well?

September was another beautiful month in sunny Murcia, and 2001’s September, that September, couldn’t be less sunny under the faithful Murcia Sun as Earth orbited around It one more day and night, around the one that keeps the Earth warm and gives the light that separates night from day. What could go wrong, except a big storm, when it never rains in Southern Murcia?

(10/20/2017) MURCIA: SEPTEMBER-11-2001: Americano, Americano!!! Where are you? Just a few times in the last seven months he was disturbed and called by somebody inquiring where was he, and that was when a “Giri” showed up, a potential home buyer in the afternoon, something very unlikely. It was early in the afternoon, and “el Americano” was deeply into that sacred time of the day for him: The Siesta. His daily routine in the afternoon was to disappear, most of the times into one of many different rooms in the sales building, so he would not be, again, disturbed for an hour at least. He was about the only one practicing “so sacred a daily healthy routine”. Think of it, dear reader, in the land that invented La Siesta! His boss was always very irritated by it, for he was Dutch, and “el Americano” was irritated at his boss being irritated. For the last two months the idea of leaving the Luxury Golf Resort was dancing already in the ‘braino’ (Spanglish) of “el Americano”. As a matter of fact a few days before he had made the decision to leave and open his own Inmobiliaria Business Office somewhere else in sunny Murcia.

There is nothing like a “good siesta” every day, if possible, he had told people countless times. Success is bitter without a daily “siesta”, it sweetens it. For what is a ‘Brazo Gitano’ without the sugar? Think of it, dear reader, if the World would take a breako (Spanglish) every day in the afternoon, there would be even less conflicts, even wars, among bitter overworked humanity. But then again, evil never takes a siesta. But in the “traveler/martini man/el Americano’s” world, siesta works fine.

Those were his thoughts coming out of the siesta and waking up not with the best humor, for he had just fallen asleep. However this time he sensed a hint of urgency, a sense of terror. It was not as previous calls for him to wake up from his siesta. This time was more like a cry to the heavens. As “el Americano” made his presence in the sales lobby trying to put on his jacket at the same time he said, “I didn’t know you could scream as they do in horror movies. What is the matter for such urgency, Burgales?” That was all that “el Americano” could come up with as a question, still half awake. The screamer was the “bartender” at the bar-café in the Restaurant at the Luxury Golf Course Resort that was in the same little square where the Sales Office was. “Just follow me please, it is better you see it with you own eyes than me telling you.” He started running towards the restaurant and so “el Americano” followed after him and the rest of the persons that were at that time in the sales building.

(10/23/2017) MURCIA: SEPTEMBER-11-2001: The bar-café in the Restaurant at the Luxury Golf Course Resort was as silent as a Cemetery could be when “el Americano” arrived preceded by the “bartender” and the rest of the members of the of sales office behind him. There were no customers in the bar-café. Only four workers of the restaurant including the “bartender and the chef” were present, plus five persons including “el Americano” that just arrived with him from the sales office. The grand total of persons with their mouths wide open looking at the TV screen was nine. Even the TV sound was off. The “bartender” looked at “el Americano”, as if asking for approval to turn the sound on, and so he did. “El Americano” felt a lump in the throat that didn’t allow him to utter a word. He felt that his heart was just beating and jumping, beating and jumping like a motor that wanted to come to an abrupt stop.

He recognized instantly the identical buildings. He remembered being in one of them years ago when he lived in New York City, at the same time hoping that what he was watching and hearing on TV was not real, that it really was another Hollywood Action Movie full of violence and terror; but the silence kept by the eight persons present was testifying that indeed it was real, very real: The Twin Towers were burning after both being hit by two big Airplanes and people were jumping to their deaths from broken windows instead of burning alive by the terrifying painful devouring flames. The silence was broken as they all noticed the tears flowing out of “el Americano’s” eyes, and one by one looking at him said, I am so sorry, and they really meant it. “El Americano” could only stammer: Has anybody seen my better half? Someone answered that she had left previously just before waking “El Americano” from the siesta.

He left for the office and called her on the phone. There was no answer after five or six rings. UNCIVILIZED THE CHINESE WERE certainly not. For most of human history, China was the most populated, wealthiest, and most sophisticated country on earth. The Travels of Marco Polo, published in 1292, told astonishing tales of enormous banquet rooms with five thousand seats, walls studded with precious stones, and consumers using paper money to purchase mass-printed books from well-stocked bookstores. (Marco Polo was so amazed by Chinese paper money that he devoted a chapter to it.) In Europe, monks hand-copied tomes while thousands of bestselling books rolled off China’s modern printing presses. China’s iron manufacturing industry produced one hundred twenty-five thousand tons a year-an amount not equaled by Europe until the twentieth century. Chinese wore soft, luxurious silk versus the European’ rough-hewn tunics, and at home the Chinese lived in stylish comfort of which Europeans could only dream.

The Chinese invented movable type four hundred years before Johannes Gutenberg was born, China built a suspension bridge two thousand years before one appeared in the West. It took the civilized Aryans seventeen hundred more years than it did the Chinese to figure out how to make porcelain. Cast iron, the crank handle, deep drilling for natural gas, the belt drive, the fishing reel, chess, matches, brandy, gunpowder, playing cards, the spinning wheel, the umbrella, and countless other innovations-such were the products of China’s inventive genius.

Europeans would eventually borrow such Chinese innovations as the plow and experience an agricultural revolution. Similarly, literacy spread as Europeans exploited paper and printing, both Chinese inventions. The British public would become addicted to drinking tea from China mixed with adrenaline-pumping sugar from its Caribbean colonies. This was the heady stimulant that would eventually transform the English from agricultural laborers to alert, regimented cogs in Britain’s new factories. But when the English asked the Chinese to accept their manufactured goods as payment for tea instead of expensive silver, the Son of Heaven wrote dismissively to King George III in 1793, “We posses all things. I set no value on objects strange or ingenious, and have no use for your country’s manufactures.”

The Chinese insistence upon silver as payment for tea was a serious economic threat to the British Empire and a huge windfall for the Chinese. As the historian Carl Trocki writes in “Opium, Empire and the Global Political Economy: The 1700s were boom times for the Middle kingdom as English silver flooded into China. China’s population over that period tripled from about one hundred millions to over three hundred million. The constant importation of Asian products into the European markets caused a permanent drain of gold and silver from Europe towards Asia. Only a small trickle of the precious metals must have re-entered Europe.... The greater part of gold and silver remained in Asia never to return to Europe.

To the British Empire’s financial rescue came a very clever colonial official, Warren Hasting, the governor-general of Bengal in northern India. Bengal had long produced opium, for centuries used across Asia as a medicinal and social drug. Portuguese sailors in Asian waters had observed a profitable Bengal-to-China opium trade conducted by Arab merchants. The Portuguese muscled in on this trade, also bringing to the Chinese market tobacco from their Brazilian colony. Tobacco mixed with Indian opium proved to be a pleasing combination to the Chinese, and opium smoking soon became popular. Realizing the harm to his people, the Son of Heaven banned opium’s sale and use in China.

Nevertheless, his edict meant little to those Foreign Devils hoping to profit and restore a more favorable (to them) trade balance. England controlled a vast swath of prime opium-growing country, stretching five hundred miles across Bengal, and the British Empire invested enormous sums in state-of-the-art opium farming and production systems. More than two thousand British opium agents oversaw the efforts of one million registered Indian opium farmers. Opium sap was dried into balls, each weighing 3.5 pounds, then placed on floor-to-ceiling factory shelves, where Indian boys would rotate each ball a quarter turn once every six days as it dried. Each opium ball was then stamped with the coveted trademark brand Patna or Benares.

White Christian opium smugglers could not legally sell the banned drug on Chinese soil, so they installed floating wooden warehouses in the Pearl River Delta, where they sold their booty to Chinese criminals who rowed out under the cover of darkness.

Opium soon accounted for an estimated 15 to 20 percent of the British Empire’s revenue, as the India-to-China smuggling business became the “world’s most valuable single commodity trade of the nineteenth century.” Western banks, shipping companies, and insurance companies sprouted to serve this enormously profitable trade. As Carl Trocki notes, “The entire commercial infrastructure of European trade in Asia was built around opium.” It was Christians who smuggled the poisonous drug into China, so the Chinese called it “JESUS OPIUM.”

This Christian drug running was nearly fatal to tje Middle Kingdom. Between 1814 and 1850, the JESUS-OPIUM trade sucked out 11 percent of China’s money supply. China lost more silver in thirty years than had flowed into the country in the 125 years leading up to the opium trade. As the Chinese money supply contracted, silver became unnaturally scarce, peasants had trouble paying their taxes, counterfeiting rose, waves of inflation and deflation whipsawed the economy, and unrest grew.

The JESUS-OPIUM trade also tore at the moral fabric of Chinese society. Since the sale of the banned was illegal, the Christian smugglers business partners were criminal lowlifes who now got rich and gathered power.

The Son of Heaven finally put his foot down and dispatched a royal representative to canton in 1839 to stop the Foreign Devil drug trade. Buckingham Palace shook at the news. Queen Victoria was just twenty years old at this point, on the British throne less than two years, but when the Chinese leader threatened to cut her largest single source of income, she understood the dire financial consequences. Opium production and smuggling not only paid for imports from China that England could not afford in silver, but the drug trade also provided the easy money that most sustained the empire. Victoria dispatched her industrialized navy to enforce Britain’s ability to push an illegal drug. What followed were the two Opium Wars-one from 1839 to 1842, the other from 1856 to 1860. What Victoria spent on these military operations against China was paltry compared to her take of profits from the illegal JESUS-OPIUM trade.

Victoria also grabbed Hong Kong as part of the spoils in the first of her two Opium Wars. Sir john Francis Davis, governor of Hong Kong from 1844 to 1848, admitted: “Almost every person... not connected with government is employed in the opium trade.” The British Empire grew fat on Chinese silver drained from the formerly richest country in the world. The sums were so enormous that ‘QUEEN VICTORIA STANDS AS HISTORY’S LARGEST GRUG DEALER’.

THEODORE ROOSEVELT DEEMED THE CHINESE A “RACE-FOE” and called upon the United States to maintain “race selfishness” to exclude ‘the dangerous alien who would be ruinous to the white race.” When he became president, Roosevelt inherited two competing U.S. approaches regarding China. In America, voters demanded Chinese exclusion. In China, U.S. businessmen demanded “The Open Door.”

ON MARCH 17, 1905, one of the most significant weddings in American history took place in a house in New York City at 8 East 76th Street, between Madison and Fifth avenues. At 3:30 p.m., Miss Alice Roosevelt-serving as a bridesmaid dressed in a white veil and holding a bouquet of pink roses-opened the ceremony as she proceeded down the wide stairs from the third floor to the second-floor salon. The bride-her cousin Eleanor Roosevelt-followed, and behind her was President Theodore Roosevelt, who would give his niece away to the bridegroom, his fifth cousin Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Eleanor wore a pearl necklace and diamonds in her hair, gifts from Franklin’s rich Delano relatives. Even though Franklin had never made much money himself, Teddy knew that he would be able to care for his new wife: FDR was heir to the huge Delano opium fortune.

Franklin’s grandfather Warren Delano had for years skulked around the Pearl River Delta dealing drugs. Delano had run offices in Canton and Hong Kong. During business hours, Chinese criminals would pay him cash and receive an opium chit. At night, Scrambling Crabs-long, sleek, heavily armed crafts-rowed out into the Pearl River delta to Delano’s floating warehouses, where they received their JESUS-OPIUM under the cover of darkness. The profits were enormous, and at his death Delano left his daughter Sara a fortune that she lavished on her only son.

The Delanos were not alone. Many of New England’s great families made their fortunes dealing drugs in China. The Cabot family of Boston endowed Harvard with opium money, while Yale’s famous Skull and Bones society was funded by the biggest American opium dealers of them all-the Russell family. The most famous landmark on the Columbia University campus is the Low Memorial Library, which honors Abiel Low, a New York boy who made it big in the Pearl River Delta and bankrolled the first cable across the Atlantic. Pricenton University’s first benefactor, John Green, sold opium in the Pearl River Delta with Warren Delano.

The list goes on and on: Boston John Murray Forbes’s opium profits financed the career of transcendentalist Ralph Waldo, Emerson and bankrolled the Bell Telephone Company. Thomas Perkins founded America’s first commercial railroad and founded the Boston Athenaeum. These wealthy and powerful drugs-dealing families combined to create dynasties.

BACK IN CHINA, enraged patriots swung into action. Newspapers featured the boycott as front-page news; refused advertisements for American goods; announced boycott meetings and reprinted anti-American speeches as breaking news; listed American trademarks and asked readers to refuse all goods marked “Made in the U.S.A.,’ “United States,” or “America”; sponsored boycott essay contests; and even argued that their 1905 boycott was comparable to the colonists’ boycott of British tea during the American struggle for independence.

Chinese homes and stores boasted huge colorful placards that read “Do Not Use American Goods,” while students marched with flags inscribed “Boycott American Goods.” The Cantonese danced to a hit song titled “Boycott the Cruel Treaty.”

A Chinese publisher translated Harriett Beecher Stowe’s “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” pointing out in the preface that White America’s treatment of its Negroes had now been transferred to the Chinese. Thousands of fans were distributed in Canton portraying scenes of Chinese being abused by Americans. Gambling houses that had offered their customers free American cigarettes switched to a Chinese brand, and on August 16, the U.S. consul to Canton, Julius Lay, “wrote of the loss in sales of 10,000 cases of oil by Standard Oil and of the failure to sell any flour at a time when 500,000 bags would normally have been sold.”

Chester Holcombe, a former U.S. State department diplomat in China, tried to signal Washington about “the intense racial pride of the Chinese.” Roosevelt must have been puzzled. Or what could the “Chinks” possibly be proud?

ESTIMATE VARY, but some conclude that the 1905 boycott cut U.S. exports to China by more than half. Outraged by the ‘Rough Rider’ in the White House, China had stood up to a White Christian country for the first time with coordinated, peaceful response. One man in Shanghai foresaw a new era: “If we succeed in getting justice from America now, we may then boycott the nation that forces opium down our throats and the others that grab our provinces.” Indeed, the New York Tribune warned that “the greatest significance of the boycott is the possibility of future use of this method of coercion if the first attempt succeeds.” The paper had it right. The boycott united China’s nationalists for the first time as they coordinated national communication, staged rallies, managed propaganda, and distributed millions of giveaways to rally their countrymen. Many of the leaders of the 1905 boycott would use their skills in further uprising against domination by Foreign Devils. Unable to image that the Chinese would behave as patriots and assuming that they’d always react as merchants, Roosevelt had fundamentally underestimated the Chinese character and had lit another long fuse.

The thing is that when I went looking for the lyrics on the Internet today, surprise! It was not the word “freedom” but the word “thrill”. Nevertheless, let’s call it a posthumous recognition that even a clean and handsome “world cantata” can inspire someone that has the Lord Always on His or Her Mind to honor someone’s memory with a humble but true addition, ultimately Honoring the Name that is Above All Names: Christ Jesus the Lord, Only Savior of any of us.
