PSALM 23  The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

JEREMIAH 6:16  Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.

PSALM 25:8-18  Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.  The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.  All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.  For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.  What man is he that feareth the Lord?  him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.  His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.  The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.  Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.  Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.  The troubles of my heart are enlarged:  O bring thou me out of my distresses.  Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

PSALM 40:1-4  I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  he brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.  Blessed is the man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

ISAIAH 26: 3-4  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

ROMANS 5:1-2  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

HOPE/ESPERANZA

PSALM 42:11  Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me?  hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

PSALM 31:24  Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

PSALM 33:18-22  Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.  Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.  For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.  Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

PSALM 46:1-3  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.

PSALM 34:4-10  I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.  They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.  This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.  The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.  O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.  O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.  The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

PSALM 119:81  My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

PSALM 119:114  Thou art my hiding place and my shield:  I hope in thy word.

PSALM 119: 116-117  Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.  Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

PSALM 147:11  The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

JEREMIAH 17:7-8  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.  For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

LAMENTATIONS 3:21-26  This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.  It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.  The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.  The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.  It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

NAHUM 1:7  The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

ISAIAH 30:18  And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

ISAIAH 51:11  Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head:  they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

ISAIAH 54:7  For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

ISAIAH 55:6-7  Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

MATTHEW 24:12-13  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

MARK 5:36  As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

MARK 6:50  For they all saw him, and were troubled.  And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

ROMANS 5:5  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

ROMANS 8:24  For we are saved by hope.

ROMANS 15:4  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

ROMANS 15:13  Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

GALATIANS 5:5  For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:8-9  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

TITUS 2:11-14  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

PETER 1:3-5  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

PAZ/PEACE OF MIND

SALMO 23  Jehová es mi pastor; nada me faltará.  En lugares de delicados pastos me hará descansar; Junto a aguas de reposo me pastoreará.  Confortará mi alma; Me guiará por sendas de justicia por amor de su nombre.  Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte, No temeré mal alguno, porque tú estarás conmigo; Tu vara y tu cayado me infundirán aliento.  Aderezas mesa delante de mí en presencia de mis angustiadores; Unges mi cabeza con aceite; mi copa está rebosando.  Ciertamente el bien y la misericordia me seguirán todos los días de mi vida, Y en la casa de Jehová moraré por largos días.

JEREMIAS 6:16  Así dijo Jehová:  Paraos en los caminos, y mirad, y preguntad por las sendas antiguas, cual sea el buen camino, y andad por él, y hallaréis descanso para vuestra alma.

SALMO 25:8-18  Bueno y recto es Jehová;  Por tanto, él ensenará a los pecadores el camino.  Encaminará a los humildes por el juicio, Y enseñará a los mansos su carrera.  Todas las sendas de Jehová son misericordia y verdad, Para los que guardan su pacto y sus testimonios.  Por amor de tu nombre, oh Jehová, Perdonarás también mi pecado, que es grande.  ¿Quién es el hombre que teme a Jehová?  El le enseñará el camino que ha de escoger.  Gozará él de bienestar, Y su descendencia heredará la tierra.  La comunión íntima de Jehová es con los que le temen, Y a ellos hará conocer su pacto.  Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová, Porque el sacará mis pies de la red.  Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí, Porque estoy solo y afligido.  Las angustias de mi corazón se han aumentado; Sácame de mis congojas.  Mira mi aflicción y mi trabajo, Y perdona todos mis pecados.

SALMO 40:1-4  Pacientemente esperé a Jehová, Y se inclinó a mí, y oyó mi clamor.  Y me hizo sacar del pozo de la desesperación, del lodo cenagoso; Puso mis pies sobre peña, y enderezó mis pasos.  Puso luego en mi boca cántico nuevo, alabanza a nuestro Dios.  Verán esto muchos, y temerán, Y confiarán en Jehová.  Bienaventurado el hombre que puso en Jehová su confianza, Y no mira a los soberbios, ni a los que se desvían tras la mentira.

ISAIAS 26:3-4  Tu guardarás en completa paz a aquel cuyo pensamiento en ti persevera; porque en ti ha confiado.  Confiad en Jehová perpetuamente, porque en Jehová el Señor está la fortaleza de los siglos.

ROMANOS 5:1-2  Justificados, pues, por la fe, tenemos paz para con Dios por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo; por quien también tenemos entrada por la fe a esta gracia en la cual estamos firmes, y nos gloriamos en la esperanza de la gloria de Dios.

ESPERANZA/HOPE

SALMO 42:11  ¿Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, Y por qué te turbas dentro de mí?  Espera en Dios; porque aún he de alabarle, Salvación mía y Dios mío.

SALMO 31:24  Esforzaos todos vosotros los que esperáis en Jehová, Y tome aliento vuestro corazón.

SALMO 33:18-22  He aquí el ojo de Jehová sobre los que le temen, Sobre los que esperan en su misericordia, Para librar sus almas de la muerte, Y para darles vida en tiempo de hambre.  Nuestra alma espera a Jehová; Nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo es él.  Por tanto, en él se alegrará nuestro corazón, Porque en su santo nombre hemos confiado.  Sea tu misericordia, oh Jehová, sobre nosotros, Según esperamos en ti.

SALMO 46:1-3  Dios es nuestro amparo y fortaleza, Nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones.  Por tanto, no temeremos, aunque la tierra sea removida, Y se traspasen los montes al corazón del mar; Aunque bramen y se turben sus aguas, Y tiemblen los montes a causa de su braveza.

SALMO 34:4-10  Busqué a Jehová, y él me oyó, Y me libró de todos mis temores.  Los que miraron a él fueron alumbrados, Y sus rostros no fueron avergonzados.  Este pobre clamó, y le oyó Jehová, Y lo libró de todas sus angustias.  El ángel de Jehová acampa alrededor de los que le temen, Y los defiende.  Gustad y ved que es bueno Jehová; Dichoso el hombre que confía en él.  Temed a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Pues nada falta a los que le temen.  Los leoncillos necesitan, y tienen hambre; Pero los que buscan a Jehová no tendrán falta de ningún bien.

SALMO 119:81  Desfallece mi alma por tu salvación, Mas espero en tu palabra.

SALMO 119:114  Mi escondedero y mi escudo eres tú; En tu palabra he esperado.

SALMO 119:116-117  Susténtame conforme a tu palabra, y viviré; Y no quede yo avergonzado de mi esperanza.  Sosténme, y seré salvo, Y me regocijaré siempre en tus estatutos.

SALMO 147:11  Se complace Jehová en los que le temen, Y en los que esperan en su misericordia.

JEREMIAS 17:7-8  Bendito el varón que confía en Jehová, y cuya confianza es Jehová.  Porque será como el árbol plantado junto a las aguas, que junto a la corriente echará sus raíces, y no verá cuando viene el calor, sino que su hoja estará verde, y en el año de sequía no se fatigará, ni dejará de dar fruto.

LAMENTACIONES 3:21-26  Esto recapacitaré en mi corazón, por lo tanto esperaré.  Por la misericordia de Jehová no hemos sido consumidos, porque nunca decayeron sus misericordias.  Nuevas son cada mañana; grande es tu fidelidad.  Mi porción es Jehová, dijo mi alma; por tanto, en él esperaré.  Bueno es Jehová a los que en él esperan, al alma que le busca.  Bueno es esperar en silencio la salvación de Jehová.

NAHUM 1:7  Jehová es bueno, fortaleza en el día de la angustia, y conoce a los que en él confían.

ISAIAS 30:18  Por tanto, Jehová esperará para tener piedad de vosotros, y por tanto, será exaltado teniendo de vosotros misericordia; porque Jehová es Dios justo; bienaventurados todos los que confían en él.

ISAIAS 51:11  Ciertamente volverán los redimidos de Jehová; volverán a Sión cantando, y gozo perpetuo habrá sobre sus cabezas; tendrán gozo y alegría, y el dolor y el gemido huirán.

ISAIAS 54:7  Por un breve momento te abandoné, pero te recogeré con grandes misericordias.

ISAIAS 55:6-7  Buscad a Jehová mientras puede ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que está cercano.  Deje el impío su camino, y el hombre inicuo sus pensamientos, y vuélvase a Jehová, el cual tendrá de él misericordia, y al Dios nuestro, el cual será amplio en perdonar.

MATTHEW 24:12-13  Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, el amor de muchos se enfriará.  Mas el que persevere hasta el fin, este será salvo.

MARCOS 5:36  Pero Jesús, luego que oyó lo que se decía, dijo al principal de la sinagoga:  No temas, cree solamente.

MARCOS 6:50  Porque todos le veían, y se turbaron.  Pero en seguida habló con ellos, y les dijo:  ¡Tened ánimo; yo soy, no temáis!

ROMANOS 5:5  Y la esperanza no avergüenza; porque el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo que nos fue dado.

ROMANOS 8:24  Porque en esperanza fuimos salvos; pero la esperanza que se ve, no es esperanza; porque lo que alguno ve, ¿a que esperarlo?

ROMANOS 15:4  Porque las cosas que se escribieron antes, para nuestra enseñanza se escribieron, a fin de que por la paciencia y la consolación de las Escrituras, tengamos esperanza.

ROMANOS 15:13  Y el Dios de esperanza os llene de todo gozo y paz en el creer, para que abundéis en esperanza por el poder del Espíritu Santo.

GALATAS 5:5  Pues nosotros por el Espíritu aguardamos por fe la esperanza de la justicia

1 TESALONICENSES 5:8-9  Pero nosotros, que somos del día, seamos sobrios, habiéndonos vestido con la coraza de fe y de amor, y con la esperanza de salvación como yelmo.  Porque no nos ha puesto Dios para ira, sino para alcanzar salvación por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo

TITO 2:11-14  Porque la gracia de Dios se ha manifestado para salvación a todos los hombres, enseñándonos que, renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos en este siglo sobria, justa y piadosamente, aguardando la esperanza bienaventurada y la manifestación gloriosa de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesucristo, quien se dio a sí mismo por nosotros para redimirnos de toda iniquidad y purificar para sí un pueblo propio, celoso de buenas obras.

1 PEDRO 1:3-5  Bendito el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que según su grande misericordia nos hizo renacer para una esperanza viva, por la resurrección de Jesucristo de los muertos, para una herencia incorruptible, incontaminada e inmarcesible, reservada en los cielos para vosotros, que sois guardados por el poder de Dios mediante la fe, para alcanzar la salvación que está preparada para ser manifestada en el tiempo postrero.
