​SACRIFICE AND OFFERING/SACRIFICIO Y OFRENDA

(August 7, 2010) PSALM 40:6  Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God. PSALM 50:22-23

PSALM 69:30-34  I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.  This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.  The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.  For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners. Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:  (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) That he should still live forever, and not see corruption. PSALM 49:6-9

PSALM 50:8-15  I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.  I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.  For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.  I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.  If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.  Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?  Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble:  I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. O Lord, open thou my lips: and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. PSALM 51:15-17

MATTHEW 12:7  But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

MATTHEW 9:13  But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

ROMANS 6:12  Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

ROMANS 12:1-2  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies. PSALM 54:6-7

SACRIFICIO Y OFRENDA/SACRIFICE AND OFFERING

(7 de Agosto del 2010) SALMO 40:6  Sacrificio y ofrenda no te agrada; Has abierto mis oídos; Holocausto y expiación no has demandado. Entended ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios, No sea que os despedace, y no haya quien os libre. El que sacrifica alabanza me honrará; Y al que ordenare su camino, Le mostraré la salvación de Dios. SALMO 50:22-23

SALMO 69:30-34  Alabaré yo el nombre de Dios con cántico, Lo exaltaré con alabanza.  Y agradará a Jehová más que sacrificio de buey, O becerro que tiene cuernos y pezuñas; Lo verán los oprimidos, y se gozarán.  Buscad a Dios, y vivirá vuestro corazón, Porque Jehová oye a los menesterosos, Y no menosprecia a sus prisioneros.  Alábenle los cielos y la tierra, Los mares, y todo lo que se mueve en ellos.

Los que confían en sus bienes, Y de la muchedumbre de sus riquezas se jactan, Ninguno de ellos podrá en manera alguna redimir al hermano, Ni dar a Dios su rescate (Porque la redención de su vida es de gran precio, Y no se logrará jamás), Para que viva en adelante para siempre, Y nunca vea corrupción. SALMO 49:6-9

SALMO 50:8-15  No te reprenderé por tus sacrificios, Ni por tus holocaustos, que están continuamente delante de mí.  No tomaré de tu casa becerros, Ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos.  Porque mía es toda bestia del bosque, Y los millares de animales en los collados.  Conozco a todas las aves de los montes, Y todo lo que se mueve en los campos me pertenece.  Si yo tuviese hambre, no te lo diría a ti; Porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.  ¿He de comer yo carne de toros, O de beber sangre de machos cabríos?  Sacrifica a Dios alabanza, Y paga tus votos al Altísimo; E invócame en el día de la angustia; Te libraré, y tú me honrarás.

Señor, abre mis labios, Y publicará mi boca tu alabanza. Porque no quieres sacrificio, que yo lo daría; No quieres holocausto. Los sacrificios de Dios son el espíritu quebrantado; Al corazón contrito y humillado no despreciarás tú, oh Dios. SALMO 51:15-17

MATEO 12:7  Y si supieseis qué significa: Misericordia quiero, y no sacrificio, no condenaríais a los inocentes.

MATEO 9:13  Id, pues, y aprended lo que significa: Misericordia quiero, y no sacrificio.  Porque no he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores, al arrepentimiento.

ROMANOS 6:12  No reine, pues, el pecado en vuestro cuerpo mortal, de modo que lo obedezcáis en sus concupiscencias

ROMANOS 12:1-2  Así que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable a Dios, que es vuestro culto racional.  No os conforméis a este siglo, sino transformaos por medio de la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que comprobéis cuál sea la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta.

Voluntariamente sacrificaré a ti; Alabaré tu nombre, oh Jehová, porque es bueno. Porque él me ha librado de toda angustia, Y mis ojos han visto la ruina de mis enemigos. SALMO 54:6-7
